American Morning and Roppongi Nights
As y'all are probably aware, CNN's American Morning is broadcasting live from Roppongi Hills in Tokyo from Monday to Wednesday this week. Tonight (Tuesday morning for you Americans) I plan to loiter around behind anchor Bill Hemmer in an attempt to get my mug, and possibly some signage, on the airwaves.
Any suggestions on how to optimize my 15 minutes?

Is that your suggestion, John?
Definitely a half-serious suggestion, like one of those signs that gets on TV just because it's an acronym of the network's letters. Get it? Ha! Ha. Well, at least I thought it was funny...
On a more serious note, you can protest the obnoxious sounds emitting at all hours from speakers around the development. A neighbor e-mailed me saying how annoying it was, via my weekly page. He contacted CNN but is probably not going to extend himself too far for that issue beyond an e-mail.
Actually I made a bunch of signs - yours was one of 'em, for kicks - but I didn't get there early enough to get much camera time. So the only one I held up was a general props to my peeps. I've heard about the noise issue before... too bad Hemmer didn't interview me at the end.
It was an interesting experience, though. I'll post something about it after I've had some zzz's.
