OK, I want to know the context of the picture. I see the spider web. That is cool. But what is it strung on?

The context is... well, this was taken through our garden netting from our porch at night. What you're seeing is a small portion of the utility pole visible in its full splendor back here. I'm not exactly sure which utility the spider attached its web to, but I'm assuming it's some sort of telecom cable, because the power lines seem to be up above.
Anyway, I was taken by the spider's choice of real estate, and by the complexity in that small viewfinder section of what we largely ignore every day.
